It’s time to form my Launch Team and I want you to be a part of it! I’ve been working hard on this book for 3+ years, but now you are the ones who are going to do what I can’t do on my own–get the word out!

 

I’ve broken this page down into two parts: what I need you to do, and what I’ll do for you.

 

What I Ask of You

This one’s easy. What I need you to do is:

1. Read the book before its official release date on November 15. (Or at least enough of it to be able to write a review).
2. If you have a blog, write at least two posts: one announcing you’re on the Faith and the Magic Kingdom Launch Team and one reviewing the book the week of the release (November 15-22). We can also do an interview for your blog if you’d like.
3. If you have a podcast, please do the same there. If we could schedule an interview that you can release that week, I’d love that, too!
4. During or before the first week of its official release–November 15-22, write a review on Amazon (I’ll provide the link when I have it).
5. During that first week, promote it on whatever social media you have available–preferably at least once a day, but I’ll leave it up to you. Really, spread the word any way you can!
6. Participate in the community to help come up with promotion ideas (I’m open to experimenting). There will be a private Facebook group set up for this (see below).

Please tag me (@Belgarion42 on Twitter, FaithandtheMagicKingdom on Facebook) when you do something in social media, and please send me links to any posts or reviews you write or podcasts you release so I can share them.

 

What I’ll Do for You

I believe in giving more than I ask for, and that’s what I’ve tried to do here. For your participation on the Launch Team, you’ll get (at least)…

1. A free review copy of the book (of course). I’ll send you your choice of a PDF or a paperback copy. (Unless you’re already getting one as a backer of the Indiegogo campaign.)
2. Exclusive access to a private Facebook group, just for launch team members, where we’ll share promotion ideas and you’ll have direct access to me. We’ll not only use this to build excitement and momentum before and during the launch, you can also brainstorm your own ideas, network, promote your own projects, ask questions, get advice (from me and other team members) and more!
3. A special mention on my blog with a link to your website.
4. A free copy of my first book, Once Upon YOUR Time: 7 Strategies for Gaining Control of Your Time Through a Tour of the Magic Kingdom (if you don’t already have it) in PDF format.
5. “The Life of Jesus Study” starter package (generously provided by Camden Ross)
6. A 1-hour webinar-style Q&A session with me where you can ask me literally anything! It’ll be a good chance to network and get helpful ideas, tips and tricks to help you progress towards your dream.
7. The chance to win a prize pack!
   • There will be 2 prize packs, and several ways to get entries:
     • Everyone on this team who writes a review on Amazon (regardless of how many stars you give the book) will get one entry.
     • Write a review on your blog or give a verbal review on your podcast and get 2 entries for it.
     • Interview me for your blog or podcast and get 2 more entries.
     • During Launch Week, I’ll be asking people who buy the book to send me a copy of their receipt and tell me how they heard about the book. For every person who mentions you, you’ll get an entry.
   • All the entries from Amazon reviews will go into one random drawing. All the other entries will go into a second one. From each, I’ll randomly choose a winner.
   • The winner of the Amazon drawing will win 2 Disney DVDs (choose from a list I’ll provide you) and 3 books—How to be Like Walt by Pat Williams, Creating Magic: 10 Common Sense Leadership Strategies from a Life at Disney by Lee Cockerell, and one other surprise book (I’ll tell you before I send it, though, so if you already have it I can substitute another one).
   • The winner of the second drawing will receive 4 Disney DVD’s (choose from a list I’ll provide you) and 5 books–the two named above, The Animated Man: A Life of Walt Disney by Michael Barrier, and two other surprise books (again, I’ll tell you before I send them, though, so if you already have either or both I can substitute).
8. The top 5 people who bring in sales will have their “The Life of Jesus Study” starter package upgraded to the Deluxe version!
