I love this quote because this is kind of my idea about life. I feel that so often “family” is overlooked… it’s like the kids have their things to do and then we need mom’s night out and date night and dad goes golfing on the weekends. But I love, and live for, family time. Being one, enjoying life together. Sometimes we have to be apart, but I’d rather that be the exception than the rule.
So true, Jennie. Family time is so valuable, but that can be contrary to the common individualistic message society sends. Maybe that makes it even more valuable? Thank you for your thoughts, and for being someone who values and advocates for the importance of family.
